Join other older girls and adults for Girl-led Camping Weekends! May 17-19 at Guajome County Park Campground in Oceanside, Friday afternoon to Sunday noon. And plan to camp together this fall! Girls can attend as a troop, with or without adults from their troop, as camp-certified adults have been confirmed. Activities, equipment, meals, and transportation will be planned by the girls in virtual (zoom) meetings on the two Sunday evenings before the camping weekend, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Both meetings are mandatory, unless advance arrangements made. The meetings will cover site, safety, requirements, patrols, menus, groceries, equipment, girl-led activities, and transportation.
The weekend fees include $20 deposit (non-refundable), paid in this registration and applied to the camping costs. Total fees will be determined at these planning meetings (site reservation, food, equipment rental-if needed, wood) and paid by check upon arrival on Friday evening. Weekend will be canceled if less than ten girls have registered. CITs are invited, and will not be charged a fee.
